This is the second to last batch of videos. I forgot to post them here yesterday so please forgive me my self-indulgence.

Rusty and I actually first saw Catherine Peach first at another show we did (I want to say PACC 2010 but could be wrong) so it was nice to finally get a chance to talk to her. Does she need a table? Nah, fuck a table.
One of the coolest books I saw at the show this year was the big (literally) graphic novel, Burning Building Comix. It’s this really tall book that gets even more really taller when unfolded and includes ten stories told concurrently as an apartment building burns. Anyway, we talked Jeff Zwirek, the creator of said book, and his brother, who helped him color (and possibly makes pornographic stick figure comics).
We also chatted with Joe-and-Rusty-interview-people-at-SPX veteran, Cara Bean, along with Sally Carson about their new books and, well, anything else we thought of. This was easily one of the most fun interviews we did because it was really just an excuse to hang out and act silly.
We tried to talk to Matt Dembicki last year but he wasn’t available. It was okay, though, because he got us a replacement that was more than equal. This year, though, we got to talk him! Matt is a great guy so it was fun to talk about his comics and the Mysterious Question ended up causing a couple fun stories.
That replacement I mentioned? It was Matt’s son, Adam, who is only 7 (6 at the time - check it out!) but has been making comics for years. Not only did he have a new book for sale at SPX, his younger brother, Roman, also made his comics debut. Thanks to Matt, we got to talk to Adam again and even talk to Roman. These kids are ridiculously cute and just outright awesome.
